Feedback, Errors, and Responses

Thanks to those of you that went out and purchased Rails Test Prescriptions over the weekend. If you haven’t taken the plunge yet, you’ll notice a handy link on the left sidebar, click on the cover image to get to the Lulu page for the book.

I’ve gotten a couple of error reports over the weekend, so this seems as good a time as any to say how I plan on handling these. Here goes:

  • I’m happy to receive any feedback on the book, factual error, confusing text, newly out-of-date content, or the occasional compliment. Issues can be sent to railsprescriptions at gmail dot com, or can be posted on the handy Get Satisfaction page.
  • Errors in code samples will be fixed on the GitHub repository as soon as possible. Right now, only the Getting Started guide has sample code in that tree, other sections will be added over time. Both issues above have been fixed.
  • Text changes will go in the next updated version of the book. The next one will probably be around March 31st.
